Feedback from the industry has highlighted how important it is to forecast yearly service costs. To assist with this, WATM has introduced fixed-price servicing for GROVE, HIAB, TIDD and other pick and carry cranes. With the expansion of our parts department; increased training and efficiencies in our workshop; and expanded field service capabilities – we have been able to control parts prices and service hours and pass those savings on to you.

Along with our Bayswater workshop expansion, our North West operations have also expanded with the deployment of WATM’s new service truck. The service truck has the capacity to repair most faults onsite, having been fitted with over 100 of the most common spare parts that cover most crane models. Minesite-accredited, the truck is equipped with metered oil pumps, waste oil removal capabilities, a 3T UNIC crane, and all the tools to do the biggest services and repairs onsite.

Regular service by a WATM technician will deliver a noticeable increase in crane reliability. So whether you decide to service on a calendar or hourly basis, WATM can confirm what your costs will be for each crane in your fleet.

Costs are calculated based on the following:

  • Servicing is carried out by WATM service technician at a Perth facility in Bayswater
  • Hourly costs do not cover any additional repairs or running costs
