WATM’s considerable capabilities go way beyond the mere selling of cranes. In fact, we have a product support team of highly factory trained technicians – certified by our OEM’s – whose sole purpose is to provide our customers with the expert technical back-up needed to keep their cranes serviced at all times. This full life cycle support from WATM includes not just crane servicing, but also supply of spare parts, timely warranty support, operator/technical training and even advice on major inspections. Last but not least, WATM can also offer customers the flexibility of competitive trade-ins to assist them in the acquisition of newer models which meet their specific project requirements.

WATM’s strategy is to stock all manufacturers recommended spare parts for the completed range of cranes and lifting equipment that we sell. Across our 3 branches, strategic inventory is held based on the profile of the machines located in that geographical area.

Across our brands , we now stock over $3.5m worth of spare parts – to keep our customers running.

With our integrated systems, each branch has visibility of our total parts holdings and we can share and support each branch where required. We track the availability of our parts versus customers’ requests and target 90% availability. We also have varying freight options available depending on how urgent the parts are. WATM has a team of factory-trained crane technicians who are more than capable of handling 10-Year Inspections not only on Grove/Manitowoc cranes, but also on all other types/makes of cranes. When safety matters, you can count on WATM to perform each 10-Year Inspection to the highest standards complete with detailed engineering reports to highlight the scope of work performed on each crane. In recent years, we’ve become known for using mobile phone and GPS technologies to facilitate quicker remote diagnoses of crane faults and error codes with much greater precision than previously thought possible. We’ve patented this unique solution called Net Tech®, which can be optioned with all new-generation Grove cranes and retrofitted on other specific models.
