John Wigham General Manager
Following some 27 years with Robe River Iron Ore at the company's Cape Lambert operation, John joined WATM in January 2002 as General Manager. His experience has included several senior management roles in the maintenance arena for both mobile cranes and fixed plant operations. John now oversees the day to day running of WATM with a heavy focus on the workshop and maintenance divisions.
Stephen Lazenby Sales Manager
Stephen joined WATM in 1996 and has headed up the new crane sales division since that time. During this time WATM was awarded the Hiab and Grove agencies and it has been Stephen's focus to continue to develop these world class brands in Western Australia. Since the first Grove, a 200 tonne All Terrain, was sold in 2000 sales have grown and made both of these brands a success story for WATM.
Bert Lavender Crane Technical Support Manager
After joining WATM in January 1983 as a fitter, Bert has held several managerial positions in the service department to which he now manages for WATM. Bert's vast experience in the repairs and complete 'ground up' rebuilds of mobile and vehicle loading cranes ensures that all of the repair work carried out by WATM is done to a very high standard. Bert's technical knowledge of cranes is well respected within the crane industry and an asset to WATM.
Reg Freap Supply Manager
Reg has been with WATM almost since its inception in 1974, coming on board in January 1977. Reg manages what has now become an extremely busy and fast developing area for WATM. With over 30 new Grove mobiles being sold by WATM since 2000 and the sale of nearly 100 new Hiabs each year, the supply/parts department has grown rapidly within the crane industry and has become renowned for being an unmatched, fast reliable service.
Chris Milentis Hiab Sales Consultant
Chris joined WATM in Febuary 2008. Chris is a qualified Boilermaker/First Class Welder and has worked in WA’ North on several Iron Ore and Nickel mines. Chris now works as part of a team looking after WATMs new and used Hiab Crane sales and installation. Chris is aslo responsible for the sale and marketing of WATMs latest edition, the new Moffett All Terrain Truck Mounted Forklift.
Phil Moynagh Workshop Service Manager
Phil commenced working at WATM in April 2004 as a fitter in the workshop carrying out large rebuilds on cranes. He has built his knowledge and experience in crane maintenance and is a firm believer in getting the job done right the first time and in a safe manner. In November 2008 Phil took on the role of Maintenance Supervisor and with his experience and enthusiasm he is making a marked effect on workshop productivity.
